Description

Buzzard’s Roost Long Range Fender/Dogbox Mount Antenna for your Garmin Astro 220, 320 or Alpha 100/200. You can mount this bracket to your fender, dog box, tool box or other area of trcuk to best suit your needs. This antenna will out perform the Garmin Magmount. Ranges will vary depending on terrain and conditions. I have personally seen 8 miles here in Eastern NC but average is 2-4 miles in average hunting conditions. Comes with 20′ coax, mounting bracket, self tapping screws and whip.

    The magnet antenna works very well, but it had one fault. If you hit a tree or a bump your antenna was gone. You would usually find it under your truck if you were lucky enough not to run it over. The fixed mount antenna gets just as good of readings as the magnet but you can be 100% sure its not going anywhere!

    This antenna works great! I have 2 mag mount antennas. We run hounds for bear in Michigan. Running down brushy roads, the mag mount antenna would come off the hood. Duct tape corrected this problem, but it looked like heck. I purchased the fender/dogbox mount antenna, and mounted it on the dogbox. This antenna will not come off. My hunting buddies are ordering the fender/dogbox mount units now! Would recommend this product to anyone!

    The customer support is awesome. I was going to have it overnighted but Mike suggested it would only take a few days to get it and would save me a ton of money to just go with the standard shipping. It was here is 3 days. I just tested the new antenna last night and got a solid 2 miles before my collar dropped out. Very happy!
